Google Ads Will Prohibit Some Skin Lightening Products

From June 2022 onwards, Google Ads will prohibit some skin-lightening products. The promotion of skin-lightening products that imply the superiority of one skin tone over another will not be allowed. According to Google, these products will be prohibited under enforcement guidance.

Google asks advertisers to review this policy and advises removing the skin-lightening products that imply the superiority of one skin tone over another before June 30, 2022.
